About:
I am a 35 year old first time mother to a beautiful baby girl born on 01.25.10.
My husband and I are native Californians who relocated to Tulsa from San Jose, CA in June 2008. I am the director of education for an international non-profit organization and my husband is a full-time nursing student.
We've been together sine 2001 and were married in Hawaii in 2007. Before moving to Oklahoma we were both professional opera singers for 10+ years. In fact it was a gig with Tulsa Opera that started the wheels turning for us to move out here. My in-laws live in Southeastern OK and we wanted to be closer to them as their health has steadily declined over the last few years.
We have two pug dogs, Regina and Luigi, and a cat Bella.
My goal in 2010 is to make some friends here in Tulsa and hope that this site helps in that endeavor. It's tough being new in town with a brand-new baby!

So what will you be doing once you go back to work? It sounds potentially interesting;) My husband is a student too. Where is yours going to school? I love the flexability of his schedule and how easy it makes it for him to do his half of the child care! Plus he loves being able to hang out with the boys.
